Position Title: Financial Analyst – Manufacturing Operations
Location: Baltimore, MD (Area)
Department: Finance & Operations
The ideal candidate will have 3 YOE as a Financial Analyst in a manufacturing environment focusing on data analysis, budgeting & forecasting, cost, GAAP and reporting.

Lead Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Forecasting
- Build, update, and maintain budgets, forecasts, and cost baselines for manufacturing programs.
- Develop robust financial models to track project performance and evaluate profitability.
Program & Cost Control
- Monitor actual vs. planned cost performance, identifying and investigating variances.
- Prepare and analyze Estimates to Complete (ETC) and Estimates at Completion (EAC).
- Support project health reviews by providing accurate financial summaries to stakeholders.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Generate reports and dashboards using systems such as Costpoint and Cognos.
- Conduct trend analysis and scenario modeling to identify financial risks and opportunities.
- Support executive-level reporting with high-quality insights and presentation materials.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as a financial partner to Program Management, Accounting, Procurement, and Production teams.
- Ensure alignment across departments on cost drivers, funding status, and project assumptions.
- Verify accuracy of financial data and reconcile against the general ledger.
Compliance & Audit Support
- Maintain documentation and controls to support internal reviews and external audits.
- Ensure adherence to GAAP and all government compliance standards related to cost accounting.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in financial analysis or program control.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with ERP platforms
- Solid understanding of GAAP accounting principles.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Salary : $110,000 - $140,000
