Position Overview :

This is an inbound customer serviceposition. Fielding policy holder phone calls answering theirquestions and providing policy improvement recommendations with agoal of callers upgrading their current policies.

This position isfor someone who is selfmotivated a go getter looking to start orfurther their career. This position does require you to be licensedin life and health insurance in your state.

Candidates successfulin passing an interview with our partner company will receive freelife and health insurance classes preparing them for their stateexam to become a licensed health and life insuranceagent.

You must reside in one of thefollowing eligible states : MI WI IN FL GA NC SC TX (NOT in DallasEuless or SanAntonio)

Essential Duties andResponsibilities :

  • Contact CenterHours of Operation : Monday thru Friday 7 : 45am to 7pmEST
  • Schedules are determined with Work ForceManagement Department during first few weeks intraining.
  • Closing Shifts will require agents tostay on the phones till an All Clear is provided and released fromphones this means you could work past the 7pm EST closingtime.
  • Average call volume per day4050calls
  • Average call handle time 915mins
  • Agent handles inbound calls from existingcustomers with a service need but are required to sell to customerson all applicable calls
  • Call Types : Existingcustomers for billing issues changes to current policy inquiriesclaims sales etc
  • Monthly Bonus opportunitybased on service and sales metrics set for the agents. Agents areeligible for bonus once they are productive on the phones

Minimum Requirements :

  • Must pass a federalbackground check.
  • Minimum Licensingrequirements : NTI will help unlicensed agents who pass an interviewwith the client to become licensed.
  • Thisposition requires an active life and health insurance license inyour resident state. NPN will need to be provided to the recruiterfor proof prior to offer.
  • Ability to becomelicensed in all 50 states
  • Your licenses must beup to date and Gerber Life is not responsible for any late fees orfines attached to your licenses.

Any certifications that are dueprior to your employment are at your cost andresponsibility.

CAPTIVE position you cant haveany active open book of business in any lines of insurance whileemployed for Gerber Life Insurance.

Salaryrequirements :

  • Salary$Annually
  • Bonus Structure ranging from$800$2000 (with the bonus you could potentially make earnings up to$66000 annually)

TrainingRequirements :

  • Traininghours MF 7 : 30am4 : 00pm CST / 8 : 30am5 : 00pmEST
  • Staggered learning approach to help youbuild your skills.
  • Nesting environment allowingyou to practice what you have beentaught
  • Strict attendance policy during trainingPTO is not available during this time

Special PositionRequirements :

First Day ofTraining / Orientation and Time : 1 / 27 / 24

Training Schedule : 90 Days

Position Schedule : 40 Hours within 8 : 45 7 : 00 PMTBD

Homeoffice Requirements

  • Must be dedicated for workuse
  • The phone service type must be landline(phone jack in wall) or VoIP(router / modem)
  • Wireless cellular virtual andcloudbased VoIP phone systems are notapproved
  • Call waiting voicemail and callforwarding must be removed from the phoneservice
  • Long distance is notrequired
  • The selected phone provider must beapproved based on the list in the document Phone service Setup.This will be provided if moved to offer of employment by GerberLife HR.
  • If your provider is not listed on thecommunication we will review the provider to determine approval ofservice can be granted

InternetRequirements :

  • You mustmeet and maintain the requirements listed in the document SpeedTest Instructions. This will be provided if moved forward to offerfrom Gerber Life HR via email.
  • High SpeedInternet must be set up and paid for at your ownexpense
  • A list of commonly approved providers isshownbelow :
  • Comcast / Xfinity
  • Charter / Spectrum
  • AT&T(not cell service)
  • Frontier (not cellservice)
  • Ifyour provider is not listed please provide the companys webaddress. We will review your provider and speeds to determine ifapproval of service can be granted.
  • Internetservice cannot be wireless fixed wireless hotspot WiFi 5G LTE orcellular network based
  • Required internet speedsare expected to be consistent across the entire day and are subjectto change based on business needs
  • Must behardwired from router / modem to the computer (docking station ifprovided)

Physical Demands :

While performing the duties of this job the employee isrequired to stand or sit use hands to finger handle or feel objectsand type on a keyboard.

The employee must also be able to reachwith hands and arms balance speak clearly and hear. Specific visionabilities required by the job include close vision depth perceptionand the ability to adjust and focus.

Work Environment :
