We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Occupational Health Physician to join our team. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments and evaluations for employees, focusing on occupational health risks.
- Develop and implement health programs aimed at preventing work-related injuries and illnesses.
- Provide clinical care, including acute care, urgent care, and addiction medicine services as needed.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to manage employee health concerns effectively.
- Administer immunizations and perform procedures such as IV infusion when necessary.
- Participate in clinical trials related to occupational health advancements.
- Educate employees on health promotion, safety practices, and wellness initiatives.
- Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Stay updated on current trends in occupational health, including developments in endocrinology, neurology, and senior care.
Qualifications
- Medical degree (MD or DO) with board certification in Occupational Medicine or related specialty.
- Proven experience in clinical practice with a focus on occupational health issues.
- Strong knowledge of aseptic techniques and procedures relevant to workplace healthcare.
- Familiarity with regulations governing workplace health and safety.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with employees at all levels.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- Previous experience in acute care settings is preferred; experience in addiction medicine is a plus.
