ABOUT THE ROLE
A leading medical device manufacturer is seeking an experienced New Product Introduction (NPI) Manager to drive the successful transfer of new product designs into full-scale production. This highly collaborative role is key to ensuring new medical technologies meet cost, quality, and timeline objectives from concept to commercial launch.
You’ll work at the intersection of R&D, operations, supply chain, and regulatory teams — leading cross-functional projects that shape the future of medical innovation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of NPI projects from design transfer through launch.

Drive cross-functional collaboration between R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain.

Manage timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure NPI success.

Define and implement DFM/DFA strategies to optimize manufacturability and scalability.

Establish phase-gate review processes and ensure regulatory and quality milestones are met.

Serve as the point of contact between engineering and operations.

Identify risks and develop contingency plans to ensure project continuity.

Support pilot builds, validation activities, and the transition to commercial production.
REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field.

5 years of experience in NPI, project management, or manufacturing engineering within medical devices or life sciences.

Experience in ISO 13485, FDA design controls, and validation (IQ/OQ/PQ).

Strong communication, organizational, and cross-functional leadership skills.

PMP or Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus.
