SUMMARY OF JOB PURPOSE The Human Resources Manager is detail oriented in nature. The ideal candidate will successfully manage the Human Resource function of a high volume retail location to ensure the company is attracting, motivating and retaining a high-performing, diverse, and successful workforce. The position is responsible for full-cycle recruiting, handling employee relations, and relationship building with management teams to create and maintain a positive working environment. This position is 100% on-site and divided between the Doraville, GA and Kennesaw, GA locations.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Partner with Store Leaders to identify HR and Talent needs and develop specific recruiting strategies to support retail locations
• Recruitment of highly qualified applicants for successful placement. Assist applicants to ensure high-end applicant flow
• Manage recruitment advertising to ensure applicant flow, cost effectiveness, use of Internet Job Boards, social media advertisements, newspapers, and other sources of applicants
• Manage full-cycle recruitment including hiring, onboarding, and employee retention
• Communicating and coordinating the handling of team member issues and concerns to maintain a positive work environment. Advising and counseling leaders on concerns and solutions. Must have the ability to make fair and unbiased decisions based on the facts
• Provide communication and interpretation on policy and procedures
• Support Performance Management program including performance and merit administration. Train and guide team members on career development program
• Work with management teams to identify, develop, and retain talent
QUALIFICATIONS
• 5 years prior HR generalist experience in retail or similar industry is a plus
• Experience with corporate recruitment
• Experience in Employee Relations investigations and solutions
• Bachelor’s Degree or Associates Degree with 2 additional years of relevant experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and resume databases
• Familiarity for HRIS systems, preferably Dayforce
• Ability to work flexible hours based on business needs
• Strong communications and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and excellent organization skills
• Knowledge of recruitment process, applicable laws, and performance based interviewing skills
* Must work on-site
Salary : $65,000 - $75,000
