Key Responsibilities:

• Electrical Maintenance & Troubleshooting:
  
• Maintain and troubleshoot CNC machines and other industrial equipment, working with high-voltage systems including 480V, 120V, and 24V DC circuits.
  
• Example: Diagnose and resolve issues with motors, drives, and safety circuits on Fanuc and Siemens-controlled CNC machines.
  
• PLC Programming & CNC Expertise:
  
• Utilize your experience with Allen Bradley PLCs and CNC controllers (Fanuc and Siemens) to keep production running smoothly.
  
• Example: Adjust Program Frequency Drives to ensure optimal machine performance and efficiency.
  
• Collaboration & Problem Solving:
  
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve issues related to proximity switches, light screens, and ethernet communication systems.
  
• Example: Troubleshoot electrical systems under pressure to minimize downtime and keep production on schedule.
  

What You Bring to the Role:

• Journeyman’s Card or 7 years of direct electrician experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting (NOT facilities maintenance).
  
• Industrial Maintenance Expertise: Strong experience working with high voltage (480V), 120V, and 24V DC systems, particularly in a manufacturing environment.
  
• PLC & CNC Systems: Hands-on experience with Allen Bradley PLCs, as well as Fanuc and Siemens CNC controllers.
  
• Troubleshooting Skills: Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair complex electrical systems, motors, drives, relays, and safety circuits.
  
• Field Support: Ability to travel domestically for fieldwork and troubleshooting as needed.
  

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in the automotive manufacturing industry.
  
• Familiarity with Fanuc and Siemens controllers on CNC machines.
  
• Expertise in PLC programming and CNC troubleshooting.
  
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and hydraulic circuits.
  

Additional Requirements:

• Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 30 lbs independently (with assistance for weights up to 60 lbs). Must be able to work in high-noise environments and adapt to various temperature conditions.
  
• PPE Compliance: Wear all required PPE, including hard hats, safety glasses, earplugs, and steel-toed shoes.
  

Schedule:

• Full-time position on-site, with shifts available on 2nd shift (2 PM - 10 PM) and 3rd shift (10 PM - 6 AM).
  
• Overtime schedules are posted every Thursday, with mandatory overtime on 2/3 Saturdays per month.
  

Compensation & Benefits:

• Base Salary: $61,000 - $70,000 per year, based on experience.
  
• Shift Premium: $1 per hour for 2nd and 3rd shifts.
  
• Overtime Pay: 1.5x for Saturdays and over 40 hours, 2x for Sundays and holidays.

Interview Preparation:

• Journeyman Requirement: Candidates should have either a four-year Journey-person electrical card OR 8 years of documented relevant job experience.
