Talent Corps is seeking a seasoned Electrical Project Manager with a background in commercial construction for an electrical service company.
This position is responsible for managing electrical projects of various sizes and types. Projects typically are tenant improvement, remodel, ATS / Generator installations.
Essential Job Functions :
- Establish and maintain relationships with customers, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing
- Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards
- Maintain all change orders, RFI’s, submittals, documents, and drawing logs
- Secure quotes from vendors in a timely manner
- Monitor construction activities in conjunction with the onsite Project Foreman to ensure the project is being built on schedule, and within budget
- Draft necessary paperwork : subcontractor agreements, purchase orders, change orders
- Create monthly progress billing reports and closeout documentation
- Track costs and labor for assigned projects
- Travel to local and national projects as required
- Other duties as assigned

Project Management is time consuming, and it is essential that that there is a commitment that deadlines are critical. The job is demanding. It is assumed the job will be 50-55 hours per week. You will be responsible for tracking your hours and work with management to maintain a reasonable time commitment. You may schedule an additional day off, with prior approval, to offset the time demands of the job. Typically, additional days around Holiday's are taken.
