ob Title : Maintenance Supervisor
Location : Davenport Works Rolling Mill Facility Bettendorf Iowa
Schedule : 12hour shifts 4 days on / 4 days off rotating from days to nights every 23 months
Position Overview :
We re seeking experienced Maintenance Supervisors with a strong background in industrial maintenance and leadership ideally within heavy manufacturing environments.
This role is essential for overseeing maintenance operations and ensuring maximum equipment uptime at our Davenport Works Rolling Mill facility.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians ensuring high safety and operational standards.
- Oversee and participate in handson maintenance tasks to ensure effective equipment performance.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and strategies to optimize equipment reliability.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
Requirements
Required Qualifications :
- Education : High School diploma or equivalent (GED) from an accredited institution.
- Experience : Minimum of 3 years of handson industrial maintenance experience in a heavy manufacturing environment.
- Leadership : At least 2 years of supervisory experience with direct reports in a manufacturing setting.
- Union Experience : Familiarity with a unionized work environment is preferred.
- Mechanical Knowledge : A mechanical background is beneficial.
Ideal Candidate Profile :
- Ability to manage rotating 12hour shift schedules maintaining consistent performance and engagement across day and night shifts.
- Strong communication and organizational skills with an emphasis on safety and productivity.
