Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical or medical procedures while monitoring their vital signs and overall condition.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized anesthesia care plans.
- Conduct thorough pre-anesthesia assessments, including reviewing medical history and conducting physical examinations.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation throughout the anesthesia process in compliance with hospital protocols and HIPAA regulations.
- Provide pain management solutions for patients post-procedure, ensuring comfort and safety during recovery.
- Stay current with advancements in anesthesia techniques and standards of practice through continuous education and training.
- Participate in ICU rounds as necessary to provide comprehensive patient care.
