Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. This role involves working in an inpatient setting, where you will be responsible for assessing patient needs, implementing care plans, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal health outcomes.
Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs and medical history.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed while adhering to aseptic techniques.
- Document all patient interactions and medical information accurately using eClinicalWorks.
- Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Implement infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Educate patients and their families on health management, treatment plans, and workers compensation law as applicable.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams within the clinic to provide comprehensive care.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Experience in an inpatient setting is preferred.
- Proficient in patient assessment techniques and vital sign monitoring.
- Familiarity with eClinicalWorks or similar electronic medical documentation systems is a plus.
- Strong understanding of infection control practices and aseptic technique.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of workers compensation law is advantageous but not required.
