Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse - Telemetry to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in telemetry nursing, providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. This role involves monitoring patients' vital signs, administering medications, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients' vital signs and cardiac rhythms, interpreting telemetry data accurately.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessments and discharge planning needs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care for patients with complex medical conditions.
• Maintain aseptic technique during procedures to prevent infections.
• Educate patients and their families about health management, medications, and post-discharge care.
• Document patient information accurately in electronic health records (eClinicalWorks) and maintain compliance with medical terminology standards.
• Participate in critical care transport as needed for patient transfers.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Experience in telemetry nursing or related fields such as long-term care, nursing home, or memory care is preferred.
• Familiarity with discharge planning processes and critical care transport protocols.
• Strong understanding of aseptic techniques and infection control measures.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including individuals with disabilities.
• Proficient in medical terminology and electronic health record systems (eClinicalWorks).
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while demonstrating strong critical thinking skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $1,420.00 - $1,486.00 per week
