Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse - Telemetry to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess patients' vital signs and cardiac rhythms, interpreting telemetry data accurately.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessments and discharge planning needs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care for patients with complex medical conditions.
- Maintain aseptic technique during procedures to prevent infections.
- Educate patients and their families about health management, medications, and post-discharge care.
- Document patient information accurately in electronic health records (eClinicalWorks) and maintain compliance with medical terminology standards.
- Participate in critical care transport as needed for patient transfers.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Experience in telemetry nursing or related fields such as long-term care, nursing home, or memory care is preferred.
- Familiarity with discharge planning processes and critical care transport protocols.
- Strong understanding of aseptic techniques and infection control measures.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including individuals with disabilities.
- Proficient in medical terminology and electronic health record systems (eClinicalWorks).
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while demonstrating strong critical thinking skills.
