Responsibilities
- Clean, disinfect, and sterilize surgical instruments and medical equipment following strict protocols.
- Inspect and assemble surgical instrument trays for various procedures.
- Maintain accurate inventory records of sterile supplies and equipment.
- Utilize proper aseptic techniques to prevent contamination during processing.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure timely availability of instruments for procedures.
- Adhere to safety standards and infection control policies at all times.
- Participate in ongoing training and education to stay updated on best practices in sterile processing.
Experience
