We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Director of Client Services to oversee client relationships, enhance service delivery, and ensure operational excellence.
Position Overview
The Director of Client Services will play a key role in managing client interactions, optimizing client experiences, and supporting the financial advisory team. This individual will oversee client onboarding, service requests, and account maintenance while ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, concerns, and service needs promptly and professionally.
- Onboarding & Account Maintenance: Oversee the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring all necessary documentation and compliance requirements are met.
- Operational Support: Assist financial advisors by preparing reports, managing CRM data, and ensuring seamless service execution.
- Process Improvement: Develop and refine client service workflows to improve efficiency and client satisfaction.
- Compliance & Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in accordance with industry regulations.
- Team Leadership: Train and supervise client service associates (if applicable) to maintain high service standards.
- Event & Marketing Coordination: Assist in planning client appreciation events and managing communications (emails, newsletters, social media).
Qualifications & Skills
- Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Direct industry experience within investments, banking, insurance, or tax is preferred.
· Entrepreneurial experience or direct support of privately held businesses with business operations experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of financial industry regulations and compliance requirements.
- Financial Literacy: Understand financial documents and processes.
· Understanding of personal finance and basic investment knowledge preferred.
- Mathematical Ability: Add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
- Computer Skills: Proficient with Outlook, Word, and Excel; Experience with Adobe preferred.
· Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salaried Position: $40,000 – $60,000 annual
- Quarterly Bonus Potential
