As a Cox Retail Sales Associate for HSC Communications will be responsible for:
- Explaining and demonstrating product capabilities, offering tailored suggestions based on customer wants and needs.
- Following a retail routine that includes working evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Reporting to the Store Manager and take guidance from the Assistant Store Manager and other team Specialists.
- Meeting and exceeding targets for customer experience, sales, and retention.
- Assisting with opening and closing the store.
- Properly handling cash transactions.
- Engaging in workshops, special events, and product demonstrations.
- Supporting fellow sales associates when needed.
- Continuously expanding knowledge of current Cox products and competitor offerings through regular training classes.
- May be required to work in other locations within the same geographical area.
HSC Communications is looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED, or up to 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Proven ability to meet established sales, retention, and customer experience targets.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively sell products using a consultative, solutions-based approach.
- Ability to build relationships and adapt to a diverse customer base.
- Proficiency in multitasking and prioritizing in a service-oriented, fast-paced team environment.
- Capability to be mobile within the store for long periods to greet customers and demonstrate products and services.
- Computer literacy with an aptitude for learning communication products, services, and accessories.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Ability to lift 25-50 pounds to help manage stockroom inventory.
- Experience in sales, retail sales, service industry, or selling wireless/mobile products.
- Fluency in Spanish, both written and spoken, is a plus.
