Job Title: Business Development Manager – Commercial Construction
Location: Woodstock, Georgia
Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000 per year (flexible based on experience)
Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead our growth initiatives in the commercial construction sector, with a focus on retail remodels and tenant improvements (TI) across the eastern United States. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in identifying and securing new business opportunities, fostering client relationships, and driving revenue growth within the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Research and Analysis: Identify and evaluate potential markets, clients, and projects in the commercial construction sector, particularly in retail remodels and TI.
- Client Acquisition and Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
- Proposal Development: Lead the preparation and submission of detailed proposals and bids, collaborating with internal teams to ensure competitive and compliant offerings.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement business development strategies aligned with company goals, focusing on expanding our footprint throughout the eastern United States.
- Networking: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to promote our services and identify new business opportunities.
- Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, estimators, and other internal stakeholders to align business development efforts with operational capabilities and project execution.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in business development within the commercial construction industry, with a focus on retail remodels and tenant improvements.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Skills: Strong understanding of the commercial construction market, excellent negotiation and communication skills, and proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Travel: Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events across the eastern United States.
