Construction Project Manager

Ideal candidates should have at least 5 years of experience as a Commercial Project Manager, with a strong background in both ground-up construction and remodel projects.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience managing multiple projects at various stages of construction.
• Ability to oversee commercial construction projects valued between $5M and $25M.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for working with clients, team members, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Proficient with web-based project management tools and project scheduling software.
• At least 5 years of experience managing large-scale commercial construction projects, preferably in the retail sector.
• At least 5 years of experience in ground-up construction, valued at $5M .
• Experience with Bluebeam or similar estimation software.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain project schedules, tracking progress throughout the construction process.
• Build and nurture relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to uncover future project opportunities.
• Oversee procurement processes for subcontractors and vendors, including scope reviews, contract drafting, and insurance/bonding assessments.
• Verify work-in-place quantities from subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely owner billing.
• Analyze and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Address and resolve issues related to drawing interpretations and conflicts.
• Manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, owner billings, subcontractor/vendor billings, and monthly reports.
• Provide monthly cost projections to forecast project completion costs.
• Support superintendents to ensure timely project completion.
• Attend and participate in weekly subcontractor meetings as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
