Summary:
As a Traveling Remodel Superintendent, you will oversee commercial retail remodeling projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will utilize your expertise in construction management software, OSHA regulations, and project scheduling to lead teams effectively. Your core skills in supervising and quality control, combined with premium knowledge of Procore and Prolog, will be essential in managing project workflows. Your ability to read schematics and apply construction estimating techniques will further enhance project outcomes, making you a vital asset to our organization.
Walmart or Publix Experience to the front of the line
Walmart Certified highly preferred but not required
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and oversee Retail (Grocery Stores) remodeling projects from start to finish
- Collaborate with clients, architects, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met
- Develop and manage project budgets, including tracking expenses and making adjustments as needed
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets industry standards and client expectations
- Manage construction schedules and ensure timely completion of projects
- Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and other construction documents
- Ensure compliance with building codes, OSHA regulations, and other safety standards
- Communicate project updates and progress to clients and stakeholders
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and permits
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in Retail remodeling or construction management
- Strong knowledge of building codes, OSHA regulations, and safety protocols
- Proficiency in construction management software such as ProCore or Prolog
- Familiarity with blueprints, schematics, and construction documents
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with clients, subcontractors, and team members
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
