We are currently seeking a skilled System Administrator to join a mission operations team. As a System Administrator, you will be responsible for working on cloud-based systems that support geospatial solutions. The team is involved in the operation and sustainment of multiple operational cloud-deployed systems, making your role essential in ensuring their smooth functioning.
Responsibilities :
Your primary responsibilities will include :
Promptly responding to user INCs (Incident Reports).
Monitoring all operational systems and performing routine health checks.
Deploying security patches and bug fixes to test and operational environments.
Updating databases with new data and performing basic system maintenance tasks.
Assisting with software deployments and updating operational and security documentation, including troubleshooting guides and SOPs.
Core Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree with at least 4 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree with 2 years of relevant experience, OR 4 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
Active TS / SCI Clearance required to start, with the ability to obtain a Polygraph post-hire.
DOD 8570 Certification (Security or equivalent or higher).
Experience in AWS / Cloud technologies.
Advanced Linux administration experience with RHEL 7 or higher.
Experience with Microsoft Windows Server.
Knowledge of Systems, Architectural, Software Development, and Software Sustainment Practices.
Windows administration experience.
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience with ArcGIS / ESRI automation and deployments.
In-depth knowledge of NiFi Apache (orchestration software), Python machine learning algorithms, and Machine Learning (ML) skills, with experience in unstructured text parsing, and Tomcat.
