Role Overview:
The Records Specialist ensures the compliance and accuracy of Small Cell asset data, including hubs, nodes, equipment, poles, and geographic location information. This role is responsible for implementing and maintaining asset data integrity, ensuring that Small Cell management policies, standards, and procedures are properly followed. The Records Specialist works with Network Records Systems (NRS), including connectivity software, GIS mapping, and financial data systems, to monitor asset changes and maintain quality. Collaboration with field teams, such as engineering and construction, is essential to ensure data accuracy and meet company objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and manage NRS data and its relationship with internal platforms, contracts, and financial systems to ensure proper reporting and interpretation.
- Assess NRS data to identify the relationship between new sales proposals and existing assets, ensuring correct application of customer contract terms.
- Conduct quality checks to maintain asset integrity and resolve conflicts, ensuring compliance with standards.
- Provide technical support to various internal teams, including Engineering, field teams, NOC, and Change Management, through phone, email, or Helpdesk tickets.
- Lead special projects, including data reconciliation, system integrations, and customer requests.
- Review Small Cell construction drawings to identify necessary updates to asset databases.
- Input and manipulate data within GIS applications to model telecommunications systems as required.
- Collaborate with RF engineers and field operations teams to ensure asset data accuracy and resolve conflicts.
- Coordinate solutions in line with asset policies and standards to maintain compliance and maximize asset value.
- Respond promptly to tickets and work orders, ensuring accurate data and providing maps and relevant information.
- Perform additional tasks as needed or assigned.
