What are the responsibilities and job description for the Biostatistician position at Talent Groups?
Must be based in Boston, MA or Greater Boston area due to client need. (In office would be on average once a month.)
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, or a related field (Master’s degree with 8 years or Ph.D. with 6 years of experience).
- Deep expertise in drug development within a regulated environment, with significant experience in clinical trials and biostatistics.
- Strong command of Bayesian statistics and its application in drug development.
- Proven experience in clinical trial design, including designing statistical analyses, scenario planning, and adaptive trial designs.
- Minimum 6 years (Ph.D.) or 8 years (Master’s) of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry (excluding CRO experience).
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software tools such as SAS and R.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver results under tight timelines.
- Strong communicator, with the ability to clearly explain complex statistical methodologies to non-statistical stakeholders.
- Ability to work autonomously in a dynamic and fast-paced biotech environment.
