What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Technician position at Talent Groups?
We are seeking an experienced Onsite Support Technician to join our Field Service Operations team. The ideal candidate will have 4-7 years of technical experience and a strong focus on providing high-quality service to end users. This role involves direct interaction with end users, peers, and managers, primarily delivering deskside support and resolving on-site issues. The Onsite Support Technician will work collaboratively within the Site Services department and provide hands-on support to other IT teams, including Audio Visual, Network, and Servers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of 25-30 technicians across multiple locations
- Oversee reporting on SLAs, ensuring adherence to service level agreements and contracts
- Coordinate shift planning, including on-call rosters, and ensure optimal resource productivity
- Provide training and development opportunities to team members
- Ensure security compliance across all operations
- Maintain adequate inventory levels across locations
- Ensure timely resolution of service requests and incidents within agreed service levels
- Lead and execute move requests and project-related tasks
- Provide technical guidance and support for various activities, including:
- Installation and configuration of desktops, laptops, mobile devices, peripherals, and software
- Break/Fix support, Desk Side Support, IMACD’s (Install, Move, Add, Change, Dispose), Data Migrations, Refreshes, and health checks
- Onsite software installations, configuration changes, and updates
- Direct technical assistance to end users at their desk locations
- Proactively identify potential issues that could impact user experience and take necessary action to prevent them

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
