Job Title: IT Project Manager
Location: Las Vegas, NV (89119) – Hybrid
Employment Type: 6 Month W2 Contract (No C2C or sponsorship available)
Talent Groups is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead and deliver complex technology and digital transformation projects in the gaming and hospitality sectors. We’re targeting candidates with experience managing system integrations, cross-functional teams, and vendor coordination. If you have a background in POS system rollouts, digital marketing solutions, API connections, or mobile application development, this role offers a unique opportunity to apply your skills in an onsite environment in Las Vegas.
Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-End Project Management: Manage IT and digital initiatives, from kickoff to delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope and budget.
- System Integrations & Upgrades: Lead the deployment and integration of platforms, such as POS systems, booking engines, and payment gateways.
- Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination: Oversee vendor relationships, manage external partners, and coordinate system rollouts, including vendor-led training.
- Agile Methodology Implementation: Utilize Agile practices for sprint planning, retrospectives, and iterative project delivery.
- Cross-Functional Team Leadership: Lead distributed teams across IT, marketing, and operations, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Risk & Budget Management: Monitor risks proactively and ensure financial control across project timelines.
- Client Communication: Provide status updates, manage stakeholder expectations, and maintain effective communication with senior leadership and external partners.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Industry Experience: Strong background in hospitality or gaming technology, with experience in managing projects like web/mobile app development, accessibility initiatives, or infrastructure migrations.
- Project Management Expertise: 5 years managing IT or digital transformation projects, particularly with software development life cycle (SDLC) and system integration work.
- Technical Tools & Methodologies: Proficient in Jira, Smartsheet, Basecamp, and experienced in working with RESTful APIs and project management tools.
- Education & Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or related field. PMP certification is preferred but not required.
- Leadership Skills: Proven experience leading cross-functional teams, managing budgets, and building collaborative environments.
