Responsibilities
- Providing administrative support (calendar management for the client and other I.T. leadership staff; answering phones; greeting visitors; ordering supplies, handling incoming and outgoing correspondence).
- Making travel arrangements, preparation for travel and other related duties
- Processing requests for new positions, replacement positions and other related Human Resource requests
- Coordinating with the Central Business Office on IT-related expenses
- Working with Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance to request office space or facility needs
- Attending meetings as needed and relaying action items across IT and between IT and other Department of Administration divisions or state agencies
- Leading/coordinating small to mid-projects (example: facility space management)
- Arranging special events and IT events (All hands meeting) - working with universities etc. for peer networking/IT advisory, working with local companies
- Acting as a liaison with key vendors and associations
- Excellent organizational skills and a proven ability to plan and prioritize multiple workstreams/tasks
- Discretion and maintain information in the strictest of confidence
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in office management
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft O365
