Job Description :
Responsibilities for EPIC consultant
Develops, supports and maintains all required system design and build documents and other system documentation
Provides support of application incidents reported through the help desk
Adheres to organization standards for system configuration and change control
Develops strong relationships with end user communities, customers and business partners
Attends, participates in, and contributes to meetings throughout the facility
Troubleshoots and / or resolves application issues and escalates more complex issues as appropriate
The Report Writer may create new reports, using third party report writing tools to display Clarity data
Provide Epic product function, design, build, and testing expertise and experience for assigned Epic module related to EpicCare Ambulatory
Collaborate with end users to design and build the Epic system in a timely and professional manner and make corrective configuration or enhancements
Lead small to medium complexity Epic software upgrade initiatives or enhancements to workflows including the design, build, and test phases
Qualifications for EPIC consultant
A certification in one of Epic’s primary applications (EpicCare Ambulatory, EpicCare Inpatient, OpTime, Willow, Stork, ASAP, Resolute Billing, Prelude / ADT, Cadence) Certification does NOT need to be current
Clinical licensure / background desired
Coordinating Projects & People
Eligible to work as an Epic consultant, unrestricted by any existing non-compete or non-solicitation agreements
Full cycle implementation and optimization experience
Current certification in Cadence, ADT, HIM, Resolute Hospital Billing, Resolute Professional Billing or Tapestry
