Responsibilities
- Taste-testing a wide range of salsa products daily (we hope you're not afraid of a little heat!). Don't forget to rinse your palate!
- Providing expert commentary and critique on the flavor, texture, spice-level, and "dipability" of our salsa products. If you've ever watched a wine tasting and thought, "Pfft, I can do that, but with salsa," this is your moment.
- Participating in salsa development meetings, where you'll be our go-to taste guru.
- Occasionally pairing our salsa with a wide variety of tortilla chips, because, let's face it, a salsa is only as good as the chip that accompanies it.
- Enduring possible salsa-stained clothing a true badge of honor for this role.
- A robust set of taste buds that can withstand frequent spice onslaughts.
- Demonstrable knowledge and passion for all things salsa. A Bachelor's degree in Salsa Studies is a plus but not required.
- Excellent communication skills and by this, we mean the ability to describe salsa with such pizazz and flair that it'll make anyone's mouth water.
- The ability to eat potentially large quantities of salsa and chips without getting a "salsache".
- Emotional strength to handle the occasional disappointing salsa (yes, they exist).
