What are the responsibilities and job description for the Scrum Master position at Talent Groups?
We are seeking a Scrum Master with expertise in Azure DevOps, risk mitigation, sprint planning, workflow management. This is a W2 position.
Job Responsibilities:
- Guide the team in Agile/Scrum principles, ensuring adherence to Scrum practices and fostering continuous improvement.
- Coordinate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure successful delivery.
- Promote collaboration among team members, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and priorities.
- Identify and resolve impediments that hinder the team’s progress, escalating issues as necessary to ensure smooth delivery.
- Track team performance using metrics like velocity, burndown charts, and other Agile tools to identify areas for improvement.
- Act as a bridge between the team and stakeholders, providing updates on project status, risks, and dependencies.
- Mentor and coach team members to foster a self-organizing and high-performing Agile team culture.
- Collaborate with the Product Owner to ensure the product backlog is well-defined, prioritized, and ready for sprints.
- Proactively identify potential risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
- Utilize and manage Agile tools like Azure DevOps for tracking and managing project workflows effectively.
