Job Summary
A 7-month hybrid opportunity is available for a Senior Budgeting Analyst to support the Budget team with detailed budget preparation, financial reporting, and ancillary functions. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing annual 990 tax filings and other financial reports for internal and external audiences.
- Process budget uploads, perform system queries, drive system reporting enhancements, automate manual processes, and test financial software.
- Meet deadlines with accuracy, maintain confidentiality, and apply decision-making skills when necessary.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- Five years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Experience with organizing corporate taxes, IRS Form 990, and financial reporting software.
- Strong analytical skills and understanding of accounting systems, charts of accounts, and activity/project maintenance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel, with experience in Workiva financial reporting software a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with Infor ERP systems (Lawson, FSM, and/or EPM).
- Background in the electric industry.
