Senior IT Operations Manager Job Description
Talent Groups is seeking an experienced Senior IT Operations Manager to oversee the replacement of our current Learning Management System (LMS).
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT project management, with expertise in developing specifications, selecting replacement applications, and implementing new systems.
- The selected Senior IT Operations Manager will utilize project management best practices and lead a project team consisting of technical, management, and agency subject matter experts.
Key Accountabilities
- The candidate will develop a detailed project plan, work assignments, project checklists, and budgets, and define requirements, resources, and schedules.
- The Senior IT Operations Manager will identify risks, develop mitigation strategies and contingency planning, plan and schedule project deliverables, goals, milestones, and design and maintain technical and project documentation.
- The individual will also convey complex technical concepts to non-technical participants, allocate internal and vendor resources effectively, manage workloads for productivity, and act as the main point of contact among stakeholders.
