Role: IT Souring/Procurement Manager
Location: Cranston, RI
Contract
We are seeking an experienced IT Vendor & Sourcing Manager with a strong background in IT vendor management, sourcing, and procurement. The ideal candidate will have 12-15 years of IT experience, including at least 5 years in IT vendor management and/or IT sourcing. This role requires a deep understanding of IT products, services, and contracts, along with negotiation and financial analysis skills to drive vendor performance and optimize costs.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- 10 years of relevant experience, including 7-8 years in IT sourcing and procurement (Application Development, SaaS, Maintenance Support).
- Strong contract negotiation and supplier management skills.
- Experience managing IT vendor agreements and understanding legal terminology related to contracts.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
- Knowledge of procurement processes, tools, and compliance standards.
- Familiarity with public sector purchasing and procurement (preferred).
- Experience with tools such as Archer (a plus).
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, complex environment and manage multiple priorities.
