Talent Link Group, LLC, is seeking a compassionate and skilled Residential Home RN to join our network of talented professionals in Long Island, NY. In this role, you will work within a behavioral health residential home, providing top-notch care and support to residents with diverse mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to residents with behavioral health needs.
- Administer medications and monitor treatments as prescribed.
- Conduct assessments to evaluate residents’ physical and mental health.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate residents and families on health conditions and best practices for care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care activities and outcomes.
- Foster a safe, therapeutic, and supportive living environment for residents.
- Address medical emergencies with prompt, effective interventions.
Qualifications:
- Active RN license in the state of New York (required).
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in behavioral health or a similar field.
- Strong understanding of mental health diagnoses and treatment modalities.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
- CPR/BLS certification (required).
