We are seeking an IT Support Technician with at least 1 year of technical support experience to join our team. This role will focus on providing Windows and MS Office support, troubleshooting network issues, and delivering excellent deskside support. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Active Directory, PC imaging, and configuration, as well as a strong ability to provide exceptional customer service. The candidate should also have the flexibility to work on-call or during weekends when needed and be able to transport IT equipment between office locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Windows and MS Office support to end users, resolving software and hardware issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues, ensuring a stable network environment.
- Use Active Directory to manage user accounts and permissions.
- Image and configure out-of-the-box PCs, ensuring all necessary software and configurations are applied.
- Re-image PCs and install approved applications, ensuring systems are set up with the correct access levels.
- Ensure that PCs are fully encrypted to meet security requirements.
- Provide software and hardware support, troubleshooting issues to resolution.
- Offer strong deskside support for in-person technical issues, working directly with end users.
- Use email spam filtering tools to manage and filter unwanted email communications.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation for all support cases and IT issues.
- Communicate effectively with end users, ensuring a positive customer service experience.
- Work flexible hours, including being on-call or working weekends as needed.
- Transport IT equipment between office locations as required.
- Utilize your cell phone for work-related calls and text communications.
Qualifications:
- 1 years of technical support experience.
- Strong experience with Windows support and MS Office applications.
- Experience working with Active Directory for user account management.
- Network support and troubleshooting experience.
- Proficiency in imaging and configuring out-of-the-box PCs.
- Familiarity with software installation and systems access management.
- Strong working knowledge of email spam filtering tools.
- Ability to verify PC encryption for security compliance.
- Excellent deskside support experience, with a focus on customer service.
- Strong documentation skills to track and resolve technical issues.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including on-call shifts and weekends.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Must own a reliable vehicle for transportation of IT equipment.
- Must be able to transport IT equipment between offices as needed.
- Ability to use your cell phone for work-related calls and texts.
Must be able to pass a complete background check and drug test.
