Title : Sr. Grading Estimator / Project Manager
Location : Wilmington, NC
Salary : $70,000 - $80,000 Per Annum Plus Benefits
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Manage numerous projects while simultaneously completing estimating duties, experienced in using Carlson Civil Software and / or Ag-Tek.
- Manage site superintendents, vendors, and subcontractors, ensuring projects are within budget and on time.
- Primary communicator with project owners and / or engineers.
- Attend pre-bid meetings with the owner, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Develop a complete and accurate bid proposal including quantity take-off; crew composition; material and subcontractor pricing.
- Negotiate, secure and manage subcontracts.
- Compare bid pricing to historical data.
- Read, outline and communicate specifications and plans for superintendents and foremen.
- Review material submittals, and request approval.
- Develop and maintain project schedule. Prepare and keep the project progress and budget.
- Change order pricing and negotiations.
Language skills (must have) :
English Native or bilingual proficiency
