We are seeking a skilled and proactive Appian BPM Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for gathering and analyzing business requirements, designing scalable technical solutions using the Appian BPM Suite, and ensuring seamless integration with third-party platforms. You’ll play a key role in shaping the application architecture, mentoring developers, and delivering high-quality solutions that drive operational efficiency and business value.
Key Responsibilities:
Gather and analyze business and technical requirements to design Appian-based solutions
Design and develop complex workflows, data models, and user interfaces using the Appian BPM Suite
Define integration requirements and implement seamless connections with external systems and third-party platforms
Create and maintain high-level technical specifications and architecture documentation
Establish and uphold development standards, ensuring alignment with Appian and client best practices
Conduct regular code reviews to ensure code quality, scalability, and maintainability
Lead all major Agile sprint ceremonies including planning, reviews, and retrospectives
Present solution demos and progress updates to clients and stakeholders
Act as the primary technical point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and customer satisfaction
Manage application deployments and oversee production support activities
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers to elevate team performance
Oversee infrastructure setup for On-Premises projects when required
Qualifications:
Proven experience in Appian BPM development, including design, implementation, and deployment
Strong understanding of Appian architecture, design patterns, and best practices
Experience with integration protocols (REST, SOAP) and third-party API integration
Proficiency in designing data models and managing relational databases
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to work independently and lead development efforts in a fast-paced environment
Preferred:
Appian certifications (e.g., Appian Certified Senior Developer or Lead Developer)
Experience in production support environments and on-prem infrastructure projects
Agile/Scrum methodology experience
