We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to provide both inpatient and outpatient physical therapy services. This dual-role position involves conducting evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based interventions to restore function, improve mobility, and prevent disability. The therapist will also participate in departmental operations, including quality improvement, safety initiatives, and team collaboration.
Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough evaluations, assessments, and treatment plans for inpatient and outpatient settings as prescribed by a licensed physician.
- Deliver evidence-based therapy interventions to restore function and promote recovery following injury, illness, or physical disability.
- Accurately document patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress in compliance with departmental and insurance guidelines.
- Ensure appropriate patient billing and compliance with insurance carrier policies.
- Contribute to departmental initiatives such as clinical quality improvement, safety programs, infection control, and team building activities.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic care for patients.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy is required.
- Current licensure by the North Carolina Board of Physical Therapy is required.
- American Heart Association BLS certification is required within 30 days of hire.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Position Details:
- Schedule: 60% inpatient/acute care in the mornings and outpatient clinic coverage in the afternoons.
- Location: Split between hospital inpatient care and outpatient clinic settings.
