Director of Cardiovascular Services
Location: North Carolina
We are seeking a strategic and dynamic Director of Cardiovascular Services to lead and manage our cardiovascular department, including Cath Lab, Endoscopy, Vascular, and Cardiac Rehabilitation services. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced leader to drive high-quality patient care, operational excellence, and departmental growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the clinical and administrative functions of the cardiovascular service line.
- Ensure adherence to policies, safe staffing levels, and efficient patient throughput.
- Manage the departmental budget and spearhead quality and performance improvement initiatives.
- Invest in staff development and maintain high standards of patient safety and regulatory compliance.
- Communicate effectively with senior leadership, including the CNO and other key stakeholders.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (required) and Registered Nurse in North Carolina (or compact state).
- 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting.
- 5 years of experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab RN.
- BLS certification (within 30 days of hire) and ACLS certification (within 90 days of hire).
- Strong leadership, strategic planning, and budgeting skills.
