We are looking for an experienced Consolidations Manager for our publicly-traded global technology client on a project basis. This role is on-site in San Jose, California.
Responsibilities
- Prepare consolidated financial statements in compliance with GAAP or IFRS
- Reconcile intercompany accounts and eliminate intercompany transactions
- Collaborate with various departments to gather and verify financial data
- Monitor compliance with internal policies and external regulations
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and variances
- Prepare and review consolidation journal entries and adjustments
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, or other related fields
- CPA or accounting certification strongly preferred
- Strong technical accounting skills including knowledge of GAAP and IFRS and foreign currency translation
- 5 years of relevant consolidations experience
- Advanced technology skills using consolidation software and MS Excel (ability to perform Pivots, V-lookups, etc.)
- Prior experience with ERP systems, such as SAP and Oracle preferred
- Qualified applicants must reside in the continental U.S.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States now and in the future. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
