Fixed Asset Accountant

We are looking for an experienced Fixed Asset Accountant for our publicly traded global leader in technology client on a project basis. This role is an on-site position located in San Jose, California.

• Responsible for the accurate and timely reporting of fixed assets (both tangible and intangible) and ensuring compliance with GAAP
• Reconcile various general ledger, intercompany, and fixed asset accounts
• Record fixed asset acquisitions and dispositions in the accounting system
• Review and update the detailed schedule of fixed assets and accumulated depreciation
• Analyze various transactions and identify appropriate account recording and accounting treatment
• Perform generally complex accounting-oriented duties in support of fixed asset requirements with minimal direction

• Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting, finance, or other related fields
• 5 years of relevant fixed asset experience
• Strong experience using fixed asset software and MS Excel
• Prior experience serving a multi-entity publicly traded organizational structure
• Qualified applicants must reside in the continental U.S.
