Business Marketing Automation ManagerJob Summary: Talent Software Services is in search of a Business Marketing Automation Manager for a contract position in Minnetonka, MN. The opportunity will be one year with a strong chance for a long-term extension.
Position Summary
: The role will effectively advance technical solutions and data-driven marketing capabilities on the Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Customer Data platforms. This position supports the Urology business unit and collaborates closely with the Marketing, Digital Marketing, and Integrated Communications teams, focusing on our patients/consumers.
- Translate business marketing goals and strategies into customer-centric, actionable marketing technology solutions in Salesforce.
- Adapt to changing business conditions while proactively driving projects to completion.
- Report to the Digital Customer Experience Manager and contribute to achieving business goals.
Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
- Define business requirements to deliver advanced email, multi-channel, and demand generation capabilities based on campaign objectives.
- Drive execution of advanced email, multi-channel journeys, and lead generation; partner with marketing analytics to measure performance and identify optimization opportunities.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation such as operational processes, workflows, and training.
- Collaborate with marketing managers to activate advanced customer segmentation strategies using the customer data platform (CDP) and manage the database for strong data integrity.
- Support team in creating strategies, building business consensus, and enforcing governance related to digital execution, deliverability, and analytics.
- Activate third-party tools and technologies that enhance marketing automation capabilities (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud Ad Studio, Mobile Studio, Interaction Studio, ShowPad).
- Support the creation of a closed loop marketing system enabling marketing investment attribution to incremental revenue impact.
- Partner with internal business teams to define business processes and system requirements for the marketing automation and demand generation roadmap.
- Utilize marketing automation, data administration/management, and Salesforce implementation experience to provide nuanced user stories and acceptance criteria to IT.
- Manage marketing automation technology vendor partners with technology Enablement & IT teams.
- Ensure marketing automation practices and processes are aligned with other business units and share best practices.
- Play a thought-leader role by sharing knowledge and best practices with both internal and external teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Arts degree in a related field.
- 3 years of experience as a senior business analyst, marketing automation campaign experience, or similar role for Salesforce implementations (or similar platform like Marketo or Eloqua).
- Expert knowledge utilizing the Marketing Cloud platform for advanced marketing campaigns.
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Sales Cloud experience.
- Solid understanding of data management and database concepts.
- Strong business case/user story development and implementation experience.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well within a matrix organization and influence teams to accomplish common goals.
- Effective relationship-building skills and ability to work in a collaborative, regionally diverse, fast-paced environment.
Preferred:
- Understanding of inbound & outbound email marketing, organic and paid search engine marketing, social media marketing, content marketing, website strategy, customer relationship management, webcasts/webinars.
- License/certification in marketing cloud, sales cloud, marketing technology.
- Visio experience is a plus.
