Project Controls Lead Analyst Job Summary: Talent Software Services is in search of a Project Controls Lead Analyst for a contract position in Florence, SC. The opportunity will be one year with a strong chance for a long-term extension. Position Summary: Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
With minimal supervision, the successful candidate will independently apply advanced project controls techniques and analyses. The role may involve handling commercial issues and providing leadership and guidance to less experienced project control personnel. The candidate will lead a Project Controls (PJC) function or a team of PJC professionals and positively influence both internal and external clients. The role requires achieving a high level of forecasting accuracy and being proactive in addressing and escalating issues.
- Leads project controls schedule team in all planning and scheduling efforts, including float analysis, earned value, startup planning, and constructability.
- Addresses contractual requirements related to schedule, including reviewing contract language and providing feedback.
- Collaborates with the management team to identify issues and trends, securing project management support.
- Facilitates risk and change management discussions.
- Supports department initiatives.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience with Primavera P6
- 1 year of construction experience
- 3 years of experience utilizing Earned Value
