The main function of a UX/UI Developer is to develop, create, and modify user interfaces through and understanding of end-user needs.
Job Responsibilities:
- Engages with the business development team and/or customer early on to seek a deeper appreciation of the customers' business problem/goals.
- Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints
- Coordinate software system installation and monitor equipment functioning to ensure specifications are met
- Design, develop and modify software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design
- Analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan computer specifications and layouts, and peripheral equipment modifications
- Experience in software design and development
- Experience in professional UI development
- Experience with data-driven UI development
- Strong communication and problem solving skills
- Interaction Designs Information architecture
- Skill in organizing and structuring content for intuitive navigation and usability.
- Experience creating sitemaps, user flows, and interaction models.
- Knowledge of usability heuristics and accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG).
- Prototyping and wireframing
- Proficiency in creating low-fidelity wireframes to high-fidelity prototypes to visualize and test ideas.
- Expertise in tools such as Figma, Adobe XD.
- Understanding of interaction design principles to ensure smooth us
- Visual Design
- Strong understanding of typography, color theory, layout, and design principles.
- Ability to create visually appealing designs that align with a product's design guidelines
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required
- 0-2 years experience required
- Years of Experience Required: 2 overall years of experience in the field.
- Degrees or certifications required: no degree is required to be eligible for this role. Having an Interaction design major is a plus.
- Best vs. Average: The ideal resume would contain a portfolio with at least 3 projects available for review. Previous *** experience is preferred. Real-life working experience collaborating with Product Managers, Engineers, Designers, and UX Researchers. Specifically UX work; web design, with less emphasis on mobile, and designing for complex enterprise scenarios.
- Performance Indicators: Performance will be assessed based on quality of work and meeting deadlines.
- Minimum 2 years of experience with creating UX designs in Figma.
- Minimum 2 years of experience with collaborating with product owners and engineers.
- Minimum 2 years of experience with interaction designs, wireframing, prototyping, and visual design.
