What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cath Lab Tech position at TALENT Software Services?
Position Summary:
- Shift: 5-8 HR day shifts (07:30-16:00)
- **rotating schedule (one 4 day weekend per month).
- Call Requirement: During the week call is 16:00 - 07:30 the next morning. Weekend call is Friday 16:00 until Monday at 07:30. Call schedule is two call nights a week for two weeks ofthe month, one call weekend (Friday night-Monday morning) per month and the week following your call weekend with no call. Occasional additional call may be required (even distribution among all staff members).
- Expect urgent/emergent cardiology and interventional radiology procedures. Callback time is 30 minutes for STEMIs, IR callback time is determined based on procedure type.
- Call team consists of three staff members one of which is an RN.
- Experience Required: Minimum 2 years.
- Traveler Experience: Unit WILL ACCEPT 1st Time Traveler
- Required Skills: Scrub, Circulate (must have IR experience 90% is IR)
- ACLS, BCLS, ARRT or RCIS
- Adults Adolescents and Geriatrics
- ¿We are a combo lab (IR/Cardiology/Vascular/EP) Patient Population: We are a combo lab (IR/Cardiology) with an approximate 90%/10% split with IR being the 90%.
- Client MAC Lab, Philips iFR/IVUS, Canon and Client Labs, Angio Jet, Pneumbra, EKOS, Inari, CSI Atherectomy System, Bovi System for Implanta Plasma Blade Cutter, Radiofrequency Ablation Unit Venous Closure Unit, Sono Site, S2000 Ultrasound Unit, IABP, Impella.
