What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNA / Nurse Assistant - Medical Surgical position at TALENT Software Services?
Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
- Performs routine patient care, support and services in accordance with the legal scope of practice and within established standards of care, policies, and procedures.
- Integrates education, technical competence and patient interaction skills to gain confidence and cooperation from the patient, their family/support group, and other healthcare providers.
- Exercises sound judgment, and developed clinical skills to support the patient's plan of care based on the diagnosis in a timely manner.
- Adheres to all local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies and procedures to ensure privacy and safety to help deliver optimal patient care.
- Provide appropriate, direct patient care to patients within established departmental time frames.
- Perform selected procedures, including but limited to: taking vital signs (temperature, pulse, respirations and blood pressure), collecting specimens, admission, transfer and discharge procedures.
- Provide basic patient care relating to nutrition, elimination, hygiene, and mobility.
- CA CNA Licensure
- BLS (AHA)
- 1 year of experience
