Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies tailored to the internal Global Supply Chain organization, the broader Cloud Operations Innovation (CO I) organization, and external suppliers and partners.
- Ensure alignment of all communication efforts with the overall business strategy and objectives of the data center and supply chain operations.
Internal Communications:
- Create and execute internal communication plans to keep the Global Supply Chain team informed about operations, updates, and changes.
- Develop and distribute regular newsletters, bulletins, and internal reports.
- Maintain and update the supply chain team's intranet pages with relevant information, news, and resources.
- Organize and facilitate team meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and following up on action items.
- Prepare and present communication materials for internal briefings.
Broader CO I Organization Communications:
- Develop strategies to communicate key supply chain updates and initiatives to the broader CO I organization.
- Create content for CO I internal newsletters, presentations, and reports to ensure alignment and transparency across teams.
External Communications with Suppliers and Partners:
- Manage communications with external stakeholders, including suppliers, vendors, and partners.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key external contacts to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
- Create and execute crisis communication plans in response to supply chain disruptions or emergencies.
Project Management:
- Lead and manage communication projects related to supply chain initiatives, ensuring timely and effective delivery.
- Implement and manage collaboration tools and platforms to enhance communication and information sharing among the global team.
- Collect feedback from team members and stakeholders to continuously improve communication effectiveness.
Analytical Roles:
- Monitor and analyze communication metrics to assess the effectiveness of communication strategies and campaigns.
- Prepare regular reports on communication activities and outcomes for senior management.
Soft Skills:
- Foster a positive and collaborative communication culture within the team.
- Address and resolve communication-related issues and challenges efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is required to be eligible for this role.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a communications role, preferably within a supply chain or technology environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in using communication and collaboration tools (e.g., MS Office Suite, SharePoint, Slack, etc.).
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to monitor and report on communication metrics.
- Experience in crisis communication and public relations is a plus.
