Job Description:
- Provides support of all PC, network, printer, and server hardware and software applications including but not limited to: SAP, MS Outlook, MS Office, Virtual Desktop, Active Directory, M365 Admin, MDT Imaging for PCs, Cisco Network Hardware, Facility Cabling, RF Equipment, and various end-user applications and computing devices. Receives direction for more complex issues from Lead Administrators or management.
- Provides troubleshooting and assists with product evaluation, selection, deployment, and use.
- May participate in the testing and evaluation of new desktop packages and implement prototypes.
- Provides setup, deployment, and support of mobile devices.
- Monitors on-site IS Systems, including backups, UPS, and server/network equipment.
- Provides remote support for facilities and associates.
- Maintains, supports, and configures warehouse devices (Printers, RF Units, Terminals, etc).
- Engages with external vendors for support and services.
- Conducts end-user training and learning sessions with associates.
- Assists in technology planning and budgeting, maintenance of technical documentation, and identification of process improvement opportunities.
- Maintains a listing of spare inventory and electronic waste.
- Responsible for documentation of all areas related to site services IT operations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Ability to multi-task, troubleshoot, and adapt to changing environments.
- Outstanding customer service skills.
- Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple work streams.
- Ability to prioritize multiple high-priority support requests.
- Working knowledge of the entire Microsoft Stack.
- M365 Admin experience is helpful.
- TCP/IP protocol stack.
- A Sec and Network encouraged.
- Typically works in an office environment with adequate lighting and ventilation and a normal range of temperature and noise level.
- Work assignments are diversified. Examples of past precedent are used to resolve work problems. New alternatives may be developed to resolve problems.
- A frequent volume of work and deadlines impose strain on a routine basis.
- May travel domestically and internationally up to 10-15% of the time.
- Minimal physical effort is required. Work is mostly sedentary but does require walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting, or carrying objects that frequently weigh up to 25 lbs, and occasionally up to 60 lbs.
Degree Requirement:
- High school diploma required; Associates or Technical school degree preferred.
- 2-5 years experience providing IS Support.
- A Sec and Network certifications encouraged.
