Typical Day in the Role

The purpose of this team is to develop, maintain, and manage program requirements, plans, timelines, issues, risks, and challenges. Support managers in driving a program or projects. Work closely with program/process owners, stakeholders, and business partners to identify business changes and drive the consensus necessary to adopt a manageable change strategy. Manage programs and projects involving multiple parties/organizations with conflicting agendas and business priorities. Lead cross-organization project teams towards targeted and scheduled outcomes. Engage with program/process owners, stakeholders, and business partners as necessary to communicate project objectives, strategy, tactics, and ongoing progress.

  • Contribute to the supply execution team, demand reserve timings, and work with stakeholders.
  • 70% managing demands tactically, 30% strategically improving items.

Role Description

We are looking for a passionate, high-energy supply chain professional to help build and create a sustainable advantage through supply chain. The role will be part of the supply chain operations team focused on the following key areas:

  • Key link between our Capacity Planning Team and the Build Order & Fulfillment Team, responsible for the stabilization of supply-demand shaping.
  • Utilizing data and analytics for supply matching to our capacity planning and customer demand requirements.
  • Establishing and defining key metrics and performance indicators driving process improvements.

Responsibilities

  • High focus on demand-supply shaping activities to help drive the execution and delivery of finished goods to global data centers.
  • Maintain company inventory, minimizing both overstock and out-of-stock occurrences.
  • Analyze the supply and demand of products and forecast.
  • Monitor inventory supply and design and implement tools for inventory management.
  • Develop and drive internal and external key performance indicators and metrics.
  • Work cross-functionally with key stakeholders.
  • Achieve delivery performance targets as developed to support business needs, while consistently evaluating opportunities and supporting process updates to enhance supply chain performance.
  • Manage and communicate trade-offs between our supplier and business needs for managing continuous improvements and process initiatives in parallel to day-to-day business operations.

Skills And Qualifications

  • Current experience in IT/high-tech electronics or manufacturing/service supply chain.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills - ability to manage competing priorities, set clear expectations, collaborate, identify objectives, develop, and deliver feedback in written, oral, and presentation formats for partner teams and senior executive management.
  • Strong project management skills involving multiple global system integrators and internal partners.
  • High comfort with handling multiple ongoing priorities and escalations.
  • Strong customer-focus and attention to detail.
  • Capable of performing complex data analysis to identify problems or opportunities to improve supply chain performance.
  • Skilled in customer relationship building and cross-functional collaboration opportunities.
  • Strong skills and knowledge in root cause analysis/problem solving and the ability to implement and drive corrective actions and efficiencies (ability to hold people accountable and drive closure).
  • Ability to work well in ambiguous situations and deal effectively with conflicting priorities and changes.
  • Support organization-wide projects to improve delivery, reliability, and agility; leveraging others effectively to support internal business team goals.
  • Minimal travel is required.

Required Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Ops/Industrial/Manufacturing engineering, Business, or equivalent experience in related fields.
  • Minimum 4-7 years' supplier management experience in an electronics or high-volume supply chain and/or applicable manufacturing/hardware production environment.
  • Minimum of 4 years program management and data analytics experience.

Preferred Experience

  • Strong understanding in the use of MRP, Excel, PowerPoint, SQL, Access, and Power BI.
  • 4 years' supplier management experience in an electronics or high-volume supply chain and/or applicable manufacturing/hardware production environment.
  • MS/MBA preferred.
