Job Description :

  • Performs extracorporeal bypass on pediatric, adult, and geriatric patient population.
  • Operates heart-lung machine to regulate blood circulation and composition, to administer drugs and anesthetic agents, to control body temperature or respiratory failure during surgery.
  • Monitors and observes operation of heart-lung machine and patients physiologic variables such as blood temperature, blood composition and flow rate and adjust equipment to maintain normal body functions.

Requirements :

  • Certification by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion
  • BLS (AHA)
  • ACLS
  • 2 years of recent experience
  • Graduate of an accredited perfusion program

    • Shift Details :

  • Work in a dynamic environment with a schedule of 5 x 8-hour shifts during the day.
  • Shifts are from 0700-1500 or 1530-2330, with variable shifts. There is no call or floating, but a weekend requirement as needed.
