Shift: 3x12 Nights – 1830-0700

On Call/Weekend Requirement: No on call requirement, every other weekend required; holiday coverage expected

Float Requirement: Float between Adult and NICU

Local Rate: Within *** miles of facility

Requirements

• 2 years of experience as an RRT in Adult Critical Care and NICU
• 1 prior travel assignment completed
• BLS
• CRT
• NRP
• MD State licensure
• ED experience, ACLS and PALS all preferred
  
  

Job Position Details

Responsibilities:

• Airway Management Devices/Suctioning: Endotracheal tube/suctioning, Extubation, Nasal airway placement, Nasal airway suctioning, Oral airway placement, Oropharyngeal/suctioning, Pulmonary Hygiene, Sputum specimen collection, Tracheostomy/suctioning, ABG interpretation

• Airway Management Devices/Suctioning
• Albuterol, Atrovent, Combivent, Flovent, Inhaled steroids, Isuprel, Lidocaine, Perforomist, Pulmicort, Racemic epinephrine, Spiriva, Terbutaline Sulfate, Tobramycin, Xopenex
• Aerosol set up mask, Aerosol set up trach, Medihaler, Metered dose inhaler, Nebulizer
• High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Trach collar, BiPAP, CPAP
• Troubleshooting high pressure alarms, Weaning from mechanical ventilation
• Assist in high risk delivery, Umbilical blood gases
• Draeger V500, Draeger VN500, Servo U
• Comfortable drawing and analyzing ABGs
