Position Summary : We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Manager for PCB / ODM Sourcing , specifically for AI / HPC. As part of the PCB and ODM procurement team, you will be the go-to person for implementing standard procurement processes, strategic sourcing and supply chain design for Machine Learning, Networking, and Server PCB designs. This role will be pivotal in developing and driving sourcing strategies for PCB products that meet the demands of our high-performance computing solutions while partnering with ODM's to manufacture boards at shouldcost. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of PCB technologies, ODM business models, market dynamics, and strategic sourcing practices.
Primary Responsibilities / Accountabilities :
- Strategy Development : Formulate and implement comprehensive sourcing strategies for PCB components tailored for HPC systems, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
- Supplier Management : Identify, evaluate, and establish strong relationships with key component and ODM suppliers. Negotiate contracts and terms to secure competitive pricing and favorable delivery
- Schedules.
- Market Analysis : Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to stay abreast of trends, technologies, and pricing in the AI / HPC sector, providing insights to inform sourcing decisions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with engineering, production, and product management teams to understand PCB / board requirements and ensure timely sourcing of components.
- Cost Optimization : Proactively drive cost reduction and process improvement within the sourcing function, ensuring maximum value for the organization.
- Risk Management : Develop risk mitigation strategies related to supply chain disruptions, material shortages, and market volatility.
