Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
- Lead individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables using AGILE methodologies.
- Deliver high throughput, scalable, highly available, concurrent, and fault-tolerant software systems.
- Act as a collaborative leader with the experience and capability to manage, motivate, and develop a team, attracting and retaining outstanding talent.
- Exercise smart and sound judgment to navigate through changing and ambiguous environments.
- Rapidly assess situations, absorb and apply new information for decision-making and direction setting.
- Design and develop innovative solutions to complex problems, identifying issues and roadblocks.
- Apply validated quality software engineering practices through all phases of development.
- Ensure resilience and stability through quality code reviews, unit, regression, and user acceptance testing, DevOps, and level two production support.
- Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject area.
- Solid knowledge and experience in programming applications.
- 10 years of Java programming experience.
- Experience with Microservices.
- Versatile in Test-Driven Development (TDD).
- Proficiency in SQL.
- Experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
- Familiarity with REST API and Git.
- Dedicated team player with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of programming language and technical terminology.
- High degree of independent judgment.
- Able to solve complex problems.
