Sterile Processing Technician

- Schedule: 5 x 8-hour night shifts (23:00 – 07:30)
- Orientation:
- Completed on a day schedule (07:00 – 15:30) for the first week
- Traveler will then transition to nights for their assignment
- On-Call/Weekend Requirement: None
- Float Requirement: None
- Local Rate: Applies within *** miles of the facility
- Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in sterile processing
- Acute hospital OR experience required
- Certifications:
- CBSPD Certification
- IAHCSMM/HSPA Certification
- Decontamination & Disinfection Expertise:
- Chemical agents and disinfectants
- High-Level Sterilization ( HLS)
- Manual cleaning procedures
- Labeling and tracking
- Ultrasonic cleaners
- Washers and sterilizers
- Specialty Equipment Processing:
- Bariatric, Cardiac, Dental, ENT, Endoscopic, General, Laparoscopic, Neuro, OBGYN, Ophthalmology, Ortho, and Plastics
- Flu vaccine is mandatory for all employees at this facility.
