Sterile Processing Technician

 Shift Details:

  • Schedule: 5 x 8-hour night shifts (23:00 – 07:30)
  • Orientation:
    • Completed on a day schedule (07:00 – 15:30) for the first week
    • Traveler will then transition to nights for their assignment
  • On-Call/Weekend Requirement: None
  • Float Requirement: None
  • Local Rate: Applies within *** miles of the facility

Requirements:

  • Experience:
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in sterile processing
    • Acute hospital OR experience required
  • Certifications:
    • CBSPD Certification
    • IAHCSMM/HSPA Certification
  • Decontamination & Disinfection Expertise:
    • Chemical agents and disinfectants
    • High-Level Sterilization ( HLS)
    • Manual cleaning procedures
    • Labeling and tracking
    • Ultrasonic cleaners
    • Washers and sterilizers
  • Specialty Equipment Processing:
    • Bariatric, Cardiac, Dental, ENT, Endoscopic, General, Laparoscopic, Neuro, OBGYN, Ophthalmology, Ortho, and Plastics

Additional Requirement:

  • Flu vaccine is mandatory for all employees at this facility.
